Carrier Sales - Transportation Broker
Description

This is a high paced career opportunity that requires a high-level commitment to detail and customer service. Being Maersk, we have a freight that needs to move to the final mile destination so with that we are looking for candidates to come through a robust training program that will give you the skill set, tools, and knowledge on how to be a freight broker in the Supply Chain Management.
* Develop and maintain Carrier relations, and act as liaison for TL sales manager
* Research and resolve issues regarding freight and billing issues related to shipments
* Daily communication with customers and vendors
* Track & trace shipments daily
* Schedule pick-up &delivery appointments
* Manage 3 to 5 million dollars in revenue per year
* No Industry experience required
Requirements

No experience is necessary. We are going to provide the training needed to be a successful freight broker. We are looking for motivated people seeking a career in the Supply Chain Management that can adapt to changes, be a team player, learn quickly, and be an instant contributor to the success of the company and client. Computer skills and communication skills are the driving factors for the job requirements.
* Proven communication skills a must (written and verbal)
* Knowledge of TL transportation terms
* Verifiable customer service experience, and the ability to communicate professionally with customers and vendors
* Computer experience: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), ability to learn proprietary software & navigate multiple programs
* Must be able to multi-task and function in a fast paced environment
* Highly motivated
* Detail oriented
* Driven to succeed
