Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the production department supporting the machining team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Dexter, MI

Pay Range:

Shift: 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Proficiently set up and accurately use standard measurement tools such as outside micrometers, dial calipers, and measuring tapes.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precision in machining processes.
• Select appropriate jaws and tooling for lathe jobs, determining the correct order for setup.
• Utilize industry-standard tooling for milling processes, including clamping devices and tool holders.
• Apply basic G-code programming to achieve proper surface finishes and manage tool wear.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electric systems.
• High skills in the use of electric, air-powered, and hand tools.
• Some skills in wire feed welding and plasma cutting.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and measuring devices accurately.
