Job Description

Our client, a leading metal fabrication company, is seeking a Mill Setup / Operator to join their team. As a Mill Setup / Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting a dedicated team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mill Setup / Operator

Location: Germantown, WI

Pay Range: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour

Shifts: 1st shift | 7:00am - 3:00pm / 2nd shift | 3:00pm - 1:00am

What's the Job?

• Independently setup, program, and operate Haas Mills, Knee Mills, and other equipment.
• Machine complex, high tolerance parts and components from blueprints and models.
• Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments.
• Visualize and compute dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances based on specifications.
• Maintain a high standard of quality and efficiency in all machining tasks.

What's Needed?

• Must have at least 3 years of machining experience.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attendance and a positive, “can do” attitude.
• Experience with Solidworks and/or MasterCAM is a plus but not required.
