Job Overview

Responsibilities  

1. Responsible for the operation of the bars and concession sales associated with performances and special events at Playhouse Square.
2. Ensure the proper stocking of back bars for the events.
3. Supervise the staffing of the various sales locations throughout Playhouse Square. Communicate with all managers ensuring all sales areas are properly staffed, open, and ready for service.
4. Coordinate and supervise the work of all the concessionaires, bartenders, concession service
   assistants.
5. Coordinate daily pre-show meetings with staff to go over any new policies, show run times, any
   upcoming events, etc...
6. Take pre and post inventories of liquor, wine, and beer used for special events. During the event, ensure that sales personnel have adequate supplies.
7. Manage and control all inventory, keeping spoilage to a minimum.
8. Complete necessary forms for the financial and operational controls of the event. This includes special event usage sheets, cash deposit sheets, theater sales sheet, and concession count sheets.
9. Help supervise the staff in the RJF club. Locking, unlocking, and periodically checking on that area
   to ensure that they are properly stocked.
10. Coordinate all set-ups in support of special events within Playhouse Square as well as all merchandise table and chair set-ups.
11. Complete nightly manager log with detailed information.
12. Maintain SERV Safe and/or SERV Safe Alcohol Certifications.
13. Must be proficient with POS Systems and be able to effectively troubleshoot errors independently.
14. Follow all guidelines and procedures within the Driftwood manual. Ensure that all employees are adhering to the manual. Implement necessary disciplinary actions timely as they arise.
15. Checking and responding to all emails pertaining to all operations in theaters and special events.
