Applications are being accepted for the following position:

Elementary Music Teacher - Grades K-4

Qualifications: Possess a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate and grade-level certified with JX or JQ endorsement(s).



Start Date : 2024-2025 School Year


Posting Period: August 20, 2024 - until filled



Job Purpose :

• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning by employing a variety of appropriate teaching strategies
• Plan and implement general music instruction that includes active student involvement and movement
• Assess progress of students on an ongoing basis

Essential Qualifications and Requirements :

• Valid teaching certificate
• Ability to manage students in a positive and supportive manner
• Ability to collaborate well with other teachers to meet individual student needs
• Ability to keep organized and accurate records
• Perform other duties/assignments as assigned
