Job Description

The position is based in South Burlington, VT, and runs for the full school year under a contract arrangement.

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist license in the State of Vermont
  • Eligibility to work within school settings
  • Experience or familiarity with Emotional Support Team (EST) meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals
  • Knowledge of best practices in school psychology and student support

Location: South Burlington, VT

Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessments and interventions for elementary students
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student needs and adapt learning environments
  • Participate in EST and IEP meetings to discuss student progress and strategies for support
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Offer guidance to parents and staff on mental health and educational issues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions
