**Job Description**

**AECOM** is seeking An Entry Level Interior Designer to be based in Chicago, IL

Entry-Level Interior Designer will provide assistance in planning, design, and documentation for a variety of interior projects. This role will be responsible for participating in concept development drawings, finishes and materials palettes, furniture selection, documentation, and specification.

_This position is expected to begin in_ May 2024

**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:**

+ Participate and collaborate in design efforts on projects ranging in size and complexity.

+ Developing space plans, three dimensional concepts, visual presentations, materials palettes, and assistance with aspects of construction documentation.

+ Have an integrated mindset working collaboratively with clients, contractors, vendors, and other AECOM team members.

+ Support in design presentations

+ Skills to assist in the design of creative and innovative interior environments that support our clients needs in collaboration with Interior Design Director and Senior Interior Designer.

+ Skills to execute a wide range of design deliverables including renderings/illustrations, detailed 3D models, space planning, and selection and specifications of FF&E.

**Qualifications**

Minimum Requirements:

+ Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Design, Interior Architecture degree from an accredited university

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite

+ Self-motivated, and detail orientated.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Strong capabilities in 3D modeling and architectural visualization software (Revit Modeling, Enscape, VRay, 3DS Max, etc).

+ Skills for selection of products and equipment, finishes and development of specifications.

**Additional Information**

+ Offered rate of compensation) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $21.50- $30/hr?
