Job description The Finance Analyst supports the Finance team by assisting with budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis activities. This role is responsible for preparing reports, monitoring key financial metrics, and analyzing data to support decision-making. The position provides hands-on experience in financial planning, analysis, and internal control processes within a global organization. Responsibilities Assist in preparing monthly financial reports for headquarters. Conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and highlight key drivers. Support profitability and cost analysis by product, customer, or region. Review and summarize sales order profitability and promotional results. Monitor inventory levels and related financial impact. Budgeting & forecasting Assist with the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and forecasts. Compile data for P&L and balance sheet schedules. Support departmental expense tracking and reporting. Internal controls & compliance Provide documentation and testing support for SOX/internal control compliance. Assist with audit preparation and financial policy adherence. Process support Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions. Work with cross-functional teams to collect financial data and ensure accuracy. Support tracking of capital expenditures and free cash flow. Job requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Word and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
