***There seems to be some confusion: I am seeking to hire an ILLUSTRATOR!
I am NOT looking to hire: Animators, web designers, photo manipulators, logo designers, etc.
You need to be able to illustrate from scratch. For example if I gave you a t shirt from bloomingdales, you should be able to draw whatever is on that shirt from scratch***
I’m looking for someone who can take my ideas for t-shirt and hoodie designs and turn them into real graphics. You should be comfortable drawing from scratch on your iPad or computer (Procreate, Photoshop, Illustrator, whatever you use), and be fast and flexible when it comes to making edits — I like to tweak things until they’re perfect.
You’ll be helping me bring my concepts to life — I’ll describe what I want, show you examples, or send references, and you’ll create versions until we get the exact look. Think bold streetwear graphics with meaning and personality — nothing basic.
What you’ll be doing
Turning my ideas and notes into full design mockups
Drawing and illustrating new designs from scratch
Editing designs over and over until they’re right
Making print-ready files (for screen print, puff print, embroidery, etc.)
Creating different colorways and versions
Helping out with logo touch-ups, tag art, and other small visuals
What I’m looking for
You can draw and design confidently on a tablet or computer
You know how to use Photoshop / Illustrator / Procreate (or similar)
You’ve got a clean, creative eye and understand streetwear style
You can take direction and make changes quickly
You’re reliable, organized, and easy to communicate with
Bonus if you already know how to prep files for print

Flexible schedule — around 20–40 hours a week , depending on workload
Pay depends on experience (can be hourly or per-design)
Based in West Covina, CA — in-person or hybrid is ideal
