We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in payroll processing across multiple states, with proven proficiency in Paychex systems. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to key HR functions while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
• Process and oversee multi-state payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Utilize Paychex software to manage payroll functions and maintain precise employee compensation records.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll discrepancies and maintain updated employee records.
• Support the administration of employee benefits, including enrollment, troubleshooting, and compliance.
• Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for employees.
• Provide guidance on employee relations matters, fostering a positive and productive workplace environment.
• Ensure adherence to employment laws and payroll compliance standards.
• Maintain and update HRIS systems to support organizational needs and reporting.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance payroll and HR operations.• A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR and multi-state payroll management.
• Proficiency in Paychex systems is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of employment laws and payroll compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and resolve issues.
• Experience with HRIS systems and managing employee records.
• Knowledge of benefits administration and onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Ability to analyze and improve HR and payroll workflows.
