Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Interim Controller who will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of our clients’ recent acquisitions and ensuring their seamless integration into our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, deep knowledge of acquisition processes, and a proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate all financial aspects of the acquisition integration process, including financial analysis and post-acquisition activities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop integration plans that align with the client’s strategic objectives.
  • Ensure that financial systems, policies, and procedures are harmonized across acquired entities.

 

Financial Management:

  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the acquired entities.
  • Monitor financial performance against acquisition goals and targets.
  • Implement best practices in financial controls and compliance.

 

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicate financial updates and progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to address any financial challenges or opportunities related to the acquisitions.

 

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and mentor finance and accounting teams within the acquired entities.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the finance department.

 

Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks associated with the integration process.
  • Ensure that financial processes and controls are robust and in compliance with regulations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Controller or Senior Finance Manager with a focus on acquisition integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • High level of adaptability and flexibility to manage change effectively.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
