Logistics Coordinator

Position Overview:

The Logistics Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our inventory system to ensure accurate stock levels, efficient order fulfillment, and smooth operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular audits and reconciliations.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality compliance.
• Arrange and execute shipping logistics for sales, servicing, and operations

Manage and grow equipment service business

Communicate with service customers, staff, and service technicians to arrange equipment repairs, servicing, PM, and certifications

• Maintain and update CRM
• Maintain inventory descriptions, specifications, pictures, and serial numbers in the CSPs inventory management system.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Generate inventory reports and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Monitor and maintain software integrations

Additional Responsibilities:

Assist with supply chain management

Customer interaction including email, phone, and in-person meetings

Assist other departments with daily tasks and requirements

• Assist in cycle counts and annual physical inventory counts.
• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for maximum efficiency and accessibility.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Proven experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a related field.

Familiarity with inventory management software and systems (e.g., ERP systems).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Fast and accurate typing.

Valid Drivers License and ability to be customer facing for deliveries

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Organized and logical, willing to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.

Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced and pressured environment and follow verbal and written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Obtained, or in the process of obtaining, a Bachelors degree in a life-science or related field
• Experience in the scientific or laboratory equipment industry.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
