A leading global technology company in the satellite communications sector is seeking a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join its international in-house legal team. The successful candidate will play a key role in enabling strategic initiatives and supporting high-impact projects across multiple jurisdictions.

Reporting into the wider global legal function, the Legal Counsel will provide practical, business-focused legal advice on telecommunications transactions, regulatory compliance, and commercial contracts. The role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams across Europe, the US, and Latin America.

Key responsibilities include:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including distribution, partnership, and service contracts.
• Advising internal stakeholders on legal risks and compliance issues related to satellite telecommunications and broadband services.
• Supporting strategic initiatives and cross-border projects across business units.
• Collaborating with commercial teams, engineers, and external counsel to align legal support with business objectives.

Candidate profile:

• Qualified lawyer in the UK, US, or another common law jurisdiction.
• 2-5 years of post-qualification experience, including time at a leading law firm.
• Strong background in drafting and negotiating international commercial contracts; experience in tech or telecoms is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
• A collaborative mindset and interest in satellite technology and telecommunications.
