As a Fresh Produce Delivery Driver, you will:

• Be home daily with our dedicated delivery routes.
• Start your early morning shift between 12:00am and 4:00am.
• Engage in touch freight, which will require loading and unloading products throughout your route.

JOB SUMMARY : You will run daily routes with numerous stops, loading packages onto hand trucks and unloading products at designated locations as per instructions from the Transportation Department Manager. Your role will also include:

• Operating efficiently within a cross-dock model and returning empty trucks to the lot.
• Assisting with loading trucks and palletizing products as needed.
• Ensuring proper delivery and obtaining signatures from customers.

To thrive in this role, you will need to:

• Communicate effectively about any discrepancies or issues with deliveries.
• Maintain company equipment and adhere to safety protocols, including conducting pre-trip inspections.
• Lift, push, and move products weighing between 1 to 75 pounds frequently, with heavier lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally.

QUALIFICATIONS :

1. Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
2. Experience: At least one year of route delivery experience or relevant driving experience with a straight truck.
3. Skills: Ability to operate a vehicle under various traffic and weather conditions, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.

Additional Information:

• Frequent lifting of 50 lbs during shifts, and occasional lifting of up to 80 lbs.
• Must be able to navigate confined spaces and repeatedly climb on and off the truck.
• Flexibility to adapt to various challenges while maintaining productivity levels.
