Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: Belmont, MA
Pay Rate: $50 – $60 / hour (negotiable)

As a middle school Special Education Teacher in Belmont, MA,
your days will include:
Developing and delivering individualized instruction based on IEP goals
Adapting curriculum materials and teaching strategies to meet student needs
Managing classroom behavior using positive behavioral supports and interventions
Collaborating with related service providers, general education teachers, and families
Participating in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and parent conferences
Maintaining compliance with IDEA, state, and district regulations regarding special education
Position: Contract – FMLA coverage (Sept. 1 – Nov. 30, with possible extension into December)
Hours: Full-time, 35–40 hours per week
Grade Level: 7th & 8th grade
Caseload: 20–25 students (mild to moderate)
Classroom: Case management of students while teacher is on leave
Interview Method: Virtual
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education (required)
An active MA teaching license in Special Education (required)
Experience in a school setting (preferred, but new graduates will be considered)
The ability to work in the U.S. without a sponsor
