Overview Allied Eagle, a division of Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has a Non-CDL Delivery Driver role available in Detroit, MI! As a Non-CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to 15-25 stops per day. You will need to unload the merchandise using hand, pallet jack, and dolly, and deliver it to the customer's preferred location. Providing exceptional customer service is a crucial aspect of this role. You will work from Monday to Friday, starting at 6:00 am until the daily route is completed. Compensation: $20/hr + time and a half after 40hrs/week. Imperial Dade is the leading independently owned and operated distributor of foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies in North America. All correspondence will come directly from Imperial Dade and not a personal email address. Responsibilities You will:

• Safely operate a 24' box truck with air brakes up to 25,999 GVW
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude

Qualifications You have:

• A good driving record
• Must have a valid DOT medical card or be able to pass a DOT medical exam
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
• Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam.
