Position Overview:


As a Project Manager at Big Dog Construction, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress and identifying potential risks or obstacles.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely resolution of issues.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety standards.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and other relevant records.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management, including project status, budget variance, and risk assessments.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, motivating and guiding project teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and efficiency.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in project management 
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
