Job Description

School-Based OT/COTA | Maternity Leave Coverage | Burlington, VT

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a supportive school team in Burlington, Vermont for a maternity leave position. This is a full-time contract opportunity starting mid-October through January , working with a diverse K-12student population.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: 37.5 - 40 hours/week (dependent on final assignment)

  • Duration: Mid-October through January (maternity leave coverage)

  • Caseload: ~76 students across 6 schools

  • 90% of the caseload is concentrated at 3 schools

  • 2 schools are located on the same campus , allowing for minimal travel

  • Population: Students with mild to severe disabilities

  • Common diagnoses include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) , Developmental Delay , and Other Health Impairments (primarily ADHD)

    Qualifications:

  • Active Vermont OT or COTA license

  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
