As a Security Officer - Hospital Restraint Specialist in Pittsburgh, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a patrol unarmed officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic healthcare setting, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, assisting staff, patients, and visitors, and responding to situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or patients while performing security-related duties.
• Document incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to provide proof of required hospital vaccines as a condition of employment.
• Must be able to work in hospital environments including morgue areas.
• Must be able to safely restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Ability to use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
