As a Security Officer - Hospital Unarmed Response in Wexford, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or incidents, documenting findings and escalating issues as appropriate.
• Assist with access control measures, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access within the healthcare location.
• Interact professionally with staff, patients, and visitors, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to safely restrain individuals as required in a hospital environment.
• Must be able to work in hospital settings including areas such as the morgue.
• Must comply with all required hospital vaccination policies.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
