Description SW Engineer Sr. to work in Reston VA: Conduct requirement analysis, design, develop, test and implement multiple projects and modules as a single software application. Design all layers of a software solution, including web applications, web services, object-oriented components, database objects and end-user reports. Diagnose problems, analyze, troubleshoot, and choose appropriate solutions to fix any software application and data-related issues. Develop technical detailed documentation, provide orientation and training to the business users for all system functionality. Interface with the business users and participate in meetings to provide technical assistance. Conduct analysis and prepare designs for new applications or revisions to existing systems. Develop, test, implement, and maintain software programs. Integrate best software development practices in software design, development and deployment. Implement high quality, secure and maintainable code using standard software design patterns and best practices. Gather software requirements and develop software applications. Analyze software code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed. Develop front-end using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, JSON, VB Script. Develop web applications using ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET and Visual Studio. Qualifications Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Technology (or equivalent based on evaluation of academic credentials, training and/or experience) as well as twenty-four (24) months in job or job related experience to include conduct requirement analysis, design, develop, test and implement multiple projects and modules as a single software application; design all layers of a software solution, including web applications, web services, object-oriented components, database objects and end-user reports; develop, test, implement, and maintain software programs; integrate best software development practices in software design, development and deployment; implement high quality, secure and maintainable code using standard software design patterns and best practices; analyze software code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed; develop front-end using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, JSON, VB Script; develop web applications using ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET and Visual Studio.
