Key Job Details – OR RN Travel Assignment

• Location: Reno, Nevada 89502 (Nevada nursing jobs)
  
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (November 17, 2025 – February 16, 2026)
  
• Healthcare Setting: Same Day Surgery Center with 8 Operating Rooms
  
• Shift: 4x10 hour day shifts per week, varied start/end times
  
• Hours per Week: 40
  
• Schedule: No weekends, no call; some holidays required
  
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100–$2250
  

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be obtained prior to start)
  
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  
• Minimum 2 years of recent intraoperative OR RN experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center
  
• Proficiency in a wide range of surgical procedures: General, Orthopedic, ENT, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Plastics, Gynecology, Dental, Oral Maxillofacial, and minimal Endoscopy
  
• Ability to float to other clinical units within competency as needed
  
• Availability to work 2 of the 3 major holidays during the assignment
  

OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver optimal patient care throughout the perioperative process, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  
• Provide comprehensive clinical nursing services to patients from pediatrics to geriatrics
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality surgical outcomes
  
• Maintain a safe, sterile environment in the operating room and adhere to infection control protocols
  
• Float to other units as required based on organizational needs and clinical competency
  
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, including working some holidays and picking up an additional shift every 4 weeks
