JOB SUMMARY: The Accounts Receivable Assistant is responsible for providing accounting and clerical support to Accounting Department personnel.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The employee in this position will have the following essential job functions:

• Handles all aspects of billing for students sponsored by third party payers.
• Assists with Monthly Program Fee billing.
• Analyzes and reconciles general ledger accounts to subsidiary records.
• Assists with the preparation and mailing of monthly statements to Seminary constituents.
• Provides support in answering student account questions, especially during times surrounding tuition payment due dates
• Provides back-up for other accounting positions as needed. Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION: The person in this position should have a minimum of a high school diploma.

EXPERIENCE: The person in this position should possess strong interpersonal skills along with knowledge of basic math skills.
