Job Description

Uncle Ike's runs the cleanest, brightest and friendliest Car Wash in Seattle. The Car Wash Attendant helps customers, cleans and washes the wheels of cars, while keeping the car wash building and area clean and beautiful all while enjoying the fresh air.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Prep car wheels for Uncle Ike's Car Wash. Help customers and calling staff if needed. Guide customers/vehicles and prepare vehicles for washing. Clean pay-stations, picking up litter and emptying trash cans. Clean outside and inside doors of service bays. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Establish good working relationships with other team members. Foster positive communications and relationships with customers. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

If under eighteen (18) years of age applicant must have a Parent/School Authorization ( when school is in session ) or a Parent Authorization for Summer Work ( if during summer break ). An ideal candidate is dependable and shows up on time regularly for their scheduled shift. Excellent communication skills and friendly customer service. Experience in the service industry preferred, auto wash experience a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Frequent standing and walking. Frequent lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds. Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
