Columbus Forge Ultrasonic NDT Level 3
What You Will Do: \n - The Quality and Process Engineering (Q&PE) organization is looking for Ultrasonic (UT) Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Level 3 inspectors who will work in the Columbus Forge business unit to support production inspection activities and develop/continuously improve our UT NDT processes and systems.
\n - As a member of the CFD Q&PE NDT team, you will support UT NDT audits and certifications, provide technical guidance, generate and review technique sheets, perform inspection system oversite, and drive process improvements.
\n - Specific NDT L3 proficiencies being considered are: Immersion Ultrasonic, specifically longitudinal and shear wave immersion disk inspection.

Qualifications You Must Have: \n - Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years NDT experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
\n - Currently hold Level 3 certification in Ultrasonic Testing.

Qualifications We Prefer: \n - P&W Certified Level 3.
\n - Familiarity or expertise in additional methods.
\n - Experience with training, personnel testing and auditing NDT systems.
\n - Experience that includes a background in fully automated inspection systems i.e. IRT ScanMaster and/or Matec Aragorn.
\n - Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing operations.
\n - Knowledge and experience with root cause and process control tools.
\n - Experience with SAP and Microsoft suite.

This role is: Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
