We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to design and develop engaging, high-impact, immersive learning experiences that empower Associates and drive business success. This role will focus on creating innovative learning solutions across multiple modalities while ensuring instructional integrity, clear learning objectives, engagement, and effectiveness. Ideal candidates will have proficiency in using (but not limited to) Articulate Storyline, Vyond and other authoring tools.

Your Responsibilities on the Team

  • Experience integrating AI tools into instructional design workflows. Ability to write and optimize prompts for content generation and simulate learning scenarios using generative AI.
  • Design and develop engaging, high-quality learning experiences that support Associate success, utilizing instructional design best practices and experiential learning approaches.
  • Create instructional materials for various learning formats, including e-learning, instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning to meet diverse learner needs.
  • Work closely with Learning & Development, HR, IT, and business leaders to assess learning needs, align content with business objectives, and ensure seamless implementation.
  • Leverage learning technologies, authoring tools, and multimedia design to enhance instructional design practices and optimize learner engagement.
  • Familiarity with AI-based media production tools to create or enhance training videos, voiceovers, and visuals.
  • Develop assessment questions and analyze training effectiveness through data-driven insights to enhance learning retention and improve future iterations.
  • Apply AI based analytics tools to identify learner behavior trends, skill development gaps, and make data-driven instructional improvements.
  • Maintain instructional design documentation and ensure content consistency and alignment with current business processes, company branding guidelines, procedures, and systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Education, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in instructional design, e-learning development, or learning experience design.
  • 3+ years of experience in software and/or technical curriculum development/course design for synchronous and asynchronous instructor-led, computer-based and web-based training, including blended learning programs.
  • 3+ years of experience using eLearning authoring and/or media development software to create SCORM compliant courses such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning theories, and experiential learning principles.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and multimedia development tools (Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, graphic design tools).
  • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to understand technical content, communicate well with subject matter experts and translate technical content to non-technical staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex topics into engaging, learner-friendly content.
  • Passion for learning innovation, continuous improvement, and leveraging technology to enhance training effectiveness.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Instructional Designer to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
