Job Opening: Assembler Medical Device Manufacturing

Location: Irvine, CA. Shift: First Shift | 5:00 AM 1:30 PM. Occasional overtime & weekend availability required. Join a growing team in a high-impact industry.

We're looking for a detail-driven Assembler to support the production of life-saving medical device catheters. This is a long-term, entry-level opportunity with hands-on training and room to grow.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble precision medical catheters under a microscope
  • Rotate across workstations, some requiring full-day microscope use
  • Stand for extended periods (up to 8+ hours)
  • Package finished products and document work orders
  • Learn to operate coil machines (if mechanically inclined)
  • Follow strict manufacturing procedures and line clearance protocols

What You Bring

  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • 612 months of manufacturing experience
  • Comfortable working with microscopes and small parts
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Able to pass background checks and drug screening
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)

Bonus Skills

  • Experience in medical device assembly
  • Familiarity with blueprints and schematics
  • Skilled with hand tools
  • Prior cleanroom experience

Work Environment

Cleanroom setting with noticeable chemical odors. Strict hygiene standards: no jewelry, makeup, lotions, nail polish, or false eyelashes. Provided gear includes smock, gloves, face mask, safety glasses, and hairnet.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
