Position Overview:

The Retail Application Manager will manage software applications and systems upgrades within MCM NCSA and EMEA. The ideal candidate will have a vital retail solution deployment, data management, application administration, and troubleshooting background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business operations and determine which software applications could improve efficiency.
• Make recommendations on whether to upgrade the current or install new systems.
• Monitor the roll-out of new software applications to ensure there are no problems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any problems with business application software.
• Create and oversee protocols and procedures for using any new software applications.
• Support training in using any new software applications and maintain a good work atmosphere.
• Create, execute, and maintain company databases with retail solutions.
• Maintain the latest software developments.

Experience & Key Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in programming, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience working as an IT specialist, especially in front-end applications.
• Broad working knowledge of computer networking, installation, and administration.
• Experience with database management and project management.
• Excellent technical skills.
• The ability to retain the latest software developments.
• Strong leadership, management, and customer service skills.
• Great analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• The ability to handle stressful situations and apply agile methodology.
