Position Function:

This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and API integrations. This role works closely with platform administrators, business analysts, and managed services to deliver scalable technical solutions that align with enterprise objectives.

Primary Accountabilities:

Salesforce

  • Design and develop Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce pages.
  • Build and maintain custom API integrations with external platforms.
  • Ensure adherence to governor limits and Salesforce best practices.
  • Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code coverage and quality.
  • Assist in testing and deployment planning for code releases.
  • Collaborate with Administrator to validate functionality during user acceptance testing.
  • Support DevOps practices such as version control, CI/CD, and deployment tools.

Business Relationship Management

  • Participate in technical design sessions with administrator, analysts, and managed services.
  • Translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Contribute to solution architecture and reusable component frameworks.

Operational/Administrative

  • Maintain technical documentation and code comments.
  • Participate in platform governance, design reviews, and standards enforcement.
  • Assist in performance optimization and troubleshooting.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED equivalency required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience with Salesforce development experience. (A relevant Bachelor’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.)
  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce administration, solutioning, or delivery preferred.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items including but not limited to boxes, files and papers up to 20 pounds unless otherwise as indicated.
  • Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and/or other work related mechanical or electronic devices and applications.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers. Must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions.
  • Must be able to read and understand bank-related documents.
  • Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time. Must also be able to adapt to different work environments as needed to perform the job.
