Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support high school students in a structured classroom setting. This full-semester, contract position is dedicated to providing tailored educational experiences for students with special needs, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Location:

• Spartanburg, SC
• High School setting

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to a diverse group of 12 students in an ID1 classroom.
• Collaborate closely with a teacher assistant to implement individualized education plans.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with staff and families.
• Comply with all state education guidelines and policies.

Qualifications:

• South Carolina teaching certification in Special Education is required.
• Experience working with high school students in special education settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive educational environment.
