Located in Gulfport, MS

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to lead our operations at our Gulfport, Mississippi location. This is a critical role that ensures the smooth, safe, and efficient functioning of our warehouse and distribution activities.

Pay $35,000 + based on experience + possible end of year bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse operations and personnel, including Drivers, Helpers, Warehouse Laborers, and Forklift Operators.
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and product organization.
• Ensure routine maintenance of the warehouse, trucks, forklifts, and all other equipment.
• Lead and conduct employee Safety Orientation programs.
• Facilitate monthly Safety Meetings and enforce safety standards.
• Respond to and manage on-site emergencies, including employee accidents or incidents, with proper reporting and follow-up.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the Branch and the Safety Director.
• Collaborate with Human Resources on staffing matters such as new hires, terminations, corrective actions, and other personnel changes within the warehouse team.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience, preferably in building supply distribution.
• Working knowledge of forklift and truck mechanics; able to identify issues and communicate effectively with mechanics.
• Proficient understanding of DOT regulations and Electronic Driving Logs (EDL).
• Forklift certification is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
